CONNOR Conference 22-23 May in Copenhagen

On 22-23 May, 2025, the Nordic Network of Conspiracy Theory Research (CONNOR) invites all interested researchers to participate in its second annual conference, this time held at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. Conference topics include historical perspectives, media mis-/disinformation, political implications, psychological dimensions and cultural perpectives in the form of comparative or case studies, interventions, educations or counteractions as well as methodological considerations all in relation to understanding of conspiracy theories in the greater Nordic context: the Nordic Countries as well as the Baltic States and Greenland.

The call for paper is out now with a submission deadline for abstracts on 16 February.

CONNOR encourages submissions that contribute to a deeper understanding of conspiracy theories in the Nordic context. The Nordic element is important but can also be seen in a comparison with other national or regional cases.

CONNOR is a multi-disciplinary research network comprised of researchers across the Nordics including several NORFAS-scholars. NORFAS steering group members Sofie Lene Bak and Claus Bundgård Christensen is on the organising comittee for the conference.
